PortAventura Day Trip: Just twenty minutes away from PortAventura World and Ferrari Land, two of the biggest theme parks in Europe, by road, Pino Alto gives you proximity to enjoy them during the day while keeping far enough not to stay within crowded noisy resort hotels at night. This is where perfect strategy meets balance.

The ‘Pool View’ Request: Ask for a room facing the central pool/garden area. More than likely, this is where the better views and atmosphere are to be found because none of the back rooms face anything negative-the street or other villas.

Visit Tarragona: Spend a day visiting the city of Tarragona, just 25 minutes away. This was once the Roman capital of the region (Tarraco) and today boasts an impressive Roman Amphitheatre spectacularly located right by the sea, a preserved circus, and a beautiful medieval cathedral. Another UNESCO World Heritage site that cannot be missed.

Garage vs. Street: Private parking garages give a good bargain on your car staying cool and safe inside during the peak months of August, but meanwhile June or September all these streets around the hotel are free parking anyway, so that money can be better spent on sangria.

Lunch at the Beach: Instead of full board, consider half board (breakfast and dinner). This will leave you free to have lunch at the Chiringuitos on Playa Cristal eating grilled sardines or calamari with your feet in the sand, which is a quintessential part of the Spanish holiday experience.
